A dog run is a strip of yard the dog can have to itself, fenced off so the lawn stays a lawn. This one takes ten feet down the right-hand side: pea gravel for most of it, which drains and hoses clean, and a patch of artificial turf at the house end, which is what most dogs would rather stand on. A gate in the dividing fence opens onto the patio.
The rest is an ordinary back yard: a paver patio off the house, a tree for shade on the lawn, and a shrub bed along the back. The fence is priced as three runs of boundary fence plus the divider, and the gate is its own line.
